This was the first time that I had gone to Fish Town. A friend recommended this location and I was very pleased. I phoned in my order. When I arrived, the order was ready and the food was piping hot. The fish( shrimp, oysters, snapper, filet of sole) all were very clean and fresh tasting. My family members enjoyed their meals.Nine times out of 10 I will patronize this location when I am in the South Los Angeles area!

I have frequented this establishment for years. To me, it is the best fish place in the area. However, I don't know what has happened to it recently. There are new people working there and the guy in the front is very, very rude. I asked if I could substitute the bread & salad for more hush puppies and fries, and he responds, "no. We don't do substitutions." Uhmmm I have been coming for years and it has never been a problem, but okay then. The fries are now crinkle fries with NO seasoning whatsoever, bland as can be. The batter on the fish has also changed. I need the former owners to come back because I will be forced to find a new fish place.

I love this place. I had relocated for a while. Job transfer back to LAA. Remember Fish Town and I'm hooked all over again. Worth your money

I haven't been here in seven years and been searching for some good fried fish. Been to at least three different fish restaurants and to no avail. But then I remembered Fish Town season very well, not at all greasy and very fresh.
The other fish restaurants were VERY GREASY taste like I had drank Ed a fish oil. Horrible and they won't get another dime of my money.
Thank you, Fish Town you bring back very fond memories and reasonably prices!!! -
